GOAL
INSTALL is an intensive workshop aimed at artistə of all disciplines with the goal of providing theoretical, technical and design skills to integrate their own artistic research with new media, design and coordinate complex multimedia installations, and operate as interdisciplinary directors, capable of directing processes in which sound, light, video, interactivity and scenography converge. The approach is strongly transmedia and alternates between moments of critical reflection, individual research and practical experimentation.
FOCUS
Customized mentorship: portfolio and project reviews with one-on-one interviews with faculty and guest artistə and curators from the media art field to refine one’s vision and develop new research trajectories.
Critical analysis of the context of digital, new media, a.i., immersive and transmedia art. Artists, movements, techniques, technologies, festivals, calls, exhibition spaces, art market and project strategies.
Design tools:
Network and contacts Structured opportunities to meet and engage with industry professionalsə, curators, artists through personal talks and panel discussions
Public exhibition and group exhibition Open to the public Sept. 20-27 with opening and closing event

SOFTWARE AND SYSTEMS
Software: Analysis of the main digital tools for creating multimedia installations, with full tutorials and workflows.
No advanced skills required: the workshop offers focused introductions, hands-on exercises, and technical support
Multimedia: during the workshop you will experiment directly with:
- TouchDesigner
real-time graphics and interactive environments - Ableton Live
sound design and sound design
- MadMapper
video mapping, laser and DMX control
